Gemtech MK9K 9mm Silencer 1/2 x 28 Threads
The MK-9K silencer is held in high regard among collectors for its low, pleasing tone and soft back-pressure for use with open-bolt subguns, such as the UZI. For sport shooters who appreciate its recoil-dampening and low blowback, it is a classic, old-school workhorse 9mm suppressor. The MK-9K performs best with subsonic 9mm ammunition having bullet weights from 147 to 158 grains. As with any muzzle suppressor, supersonic light bullets, such as the 115 gr Winchester White Box 9mm ammunition, will result in a downrange supersonic ballistic crack, but excellent sound reduction at the muzzle is still achieved.
