Athena is named after the goddess of War and Wisdom. Plato believed her name meant “Mind of God” whilst others believe it comes from the ancient word meaning “sharp”. Athena's interior is two large compartments that is separated by the carry compartment that is closed with a magnetic button at the top. The lining is 100% cotton Estrella de los Muertos from the California designer Alexander Henry. All hardware is a nickel-plated brass or gold brass that will last a lifetime. There are 3 interior pouches that are perfectly sized for mace, extra magazines, cell phones, flashlights, lipsticks, etc. There is one large sized interior zippered compartment and one large exterior zippered compartment.Â
Athena has no “true front” so it can be worn on either shoulder for right or left handed draw. This bag comes with one medium sized holster.Â
